Outgoing Mail
Server Settings Have Changed
You Need To
Change Your
Outgoing Mail Server Port Settings
Here are some ways to find your advanced
settings
- Outlook E-Mail settings; each version is a little
different.
- go to the "Tools", click
on "Accounts" Select
the account and click "properties
or change", click on the "Advanced
or More Settings" tab, and click the settings of
the Outgoing server (SMTP).

Outgoing Mail (SMTP): 465 ( PORT )
This server requires a secure
connection [SSL]: checked

encrypted connection [SSL]
Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, ensure there is
a check in the box next to My server requires
authentication. If there is no check box, click on
the box and it will apply the check.
Thunderbird E-Mail Settings; go to; Tools,
Account Settings then to Outgoing Server (smtp);
select account, click edit, change Port to 465, Connection
Security Select SSL/TSL ; Authentication method; Normal
Click OK, Settings should now be correct.
When you receive a
message
The server you are connected to is using a
security certificate that cannot be verified.
Accept and
Continue.
